  • Our Presence

Global Citizenship

Corporate Responsibility

As a company that works across international frontiers, Aventine is committed to the notion of global citizenship.

Our Goal

To establish and build positive relationships with local community charities by providing financial support and participating in charity events, while delivering positive social impacts in measurable long lasting results.

Our Mission

To support local communities by aligning our resources to our priorities. Our focus is to collaborate with charity organisations to build and strengthen relationships while establishing connections with individuals to help them realise their potential to effectively contribute to society.

What Being Responsible Means to Us

Reporting on our sustainability efforts, including progress made towards our commitments, is essential as we seek to continually demonstrate transparency and build trust with our stakeholders. We are proud of what we have accomplished thus far, but also recognize there is more to do to create long-term and positive impacts for our communities.

We know being a responsible leader provides us with an opportunity to inspire our people through our actions, and we want them to be proud of the organisation with which they chose to grow their careers. As a team we are focused on making a difference for our clients, our people, and our communities by helping them unlock their potential and create lasting value. We push ourselves to set the standard in quality and lead the profession. The reputation we have built in the marketplace allows us to sustainably grow our team, hire the right people, and invest for tomorrow.

Aventine

An organisation’s ability to thrive in today’s marketplace has as much to do with navigating complex issues as it does with constructing and delivering solutions to society’s greatest challenges. At Aventine, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a key part of our overall strategy and is core to who we are as an organisation. Whether through the employee life cycle, collaborative opportunities, or thought leadership, our emphasis is on connecting our people to work that substantively helps to solve important problems and build trust in society. While our focus centers on our themes of education and inclusion, our goal is to deliver positive social impact in measurable long lasting results.

We are committed to having a positive impact and creating meaningful, long-term value through our local efforts

This includes work around caring for youth and providing education through organisations such as Shanghai Sunrise, St. Teresa Children Center, Andrew Charity Association, and People's Food Bank, and support for the local organisations that are important to our people.

St. Teresa Children Center

Founded in 1964 by a Jesuit priest, St. Teresa Center in Hsinchu, near Taipei, originated as a center for young polio victims. It was renamed St. Teresa Children Center in 1991 to provide shelter and care for the increasing number of orphans, abused, and neglected children in Taiwan. These children, ranging from three to twenty-one years of age, are cared for until their families are able to resume responsibility for them or until the children are able to live independently.

Shanghai Sunrise

A non-profit organisation established in Shanghai in 1995 devoted to raising funds that are 100% deployed towards offering high school, university and college scholarships to students from underprivileged working families, Shanghai Sunrise believes in providing students an education to help them to emerge out of situations of hardship. With an education comes the ability to change their futures, to find meaningful careers, and an opportunity to give back to the community.
